2011 in review.
a lot happened in 2011. a lot of really great things. on NYE, josh and i sat on our couch and attempted to recount our favorite memories from the past 12 months. at first we challenged one another to list the top 5 but, after realizing this was far too restrictive, we ended up going back and forth for quite some time. below are some highlights I was lucky enough to capture.

merry holidays!
still recovering from christmas/hibernating in fear of getting the nasty flu circulating my family. below is a little snapshot of our merry day.
we ate. sauerkraut balls, sausage and egg rolls (one of these things is not like the german other).
drank (too much).
we gifted.
we attempted a family photo.
we put cats in boxes.
the end!
now i am back at work. boo hoo hoo.

sigh of relief.
i finished! i battled the chilly air temps and torturous hills and i finished!
i swam.
i biked.
and i ran.
whew…finishing a race might be one of the best feelings ever. even the post race soreness doesn’t bother me.
